Eddie Holt
Eddie is a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and Army National Guard. After six years of military service, he attended college and earned a degree in Professional Writing from Fitchburg State University in Massachusetts. He, along with Larissa, moved to California to attend graduate school. After graduate school and a short stint as a high school English teacher, he realized that he didn’t have the desire to work in a classroom. Thus began his journey into general construction. For six years he learned all aspects of building construction while working in Monterey and Pebble Beach, California. He moved to Oregon in 1992 and began working as a facility manager for a chain of large fitness facilities with over 70,000 square feet of space, countless pieces of fitness equipment, and 10 pools and spas. Here he learned his pool acumen, management skills and how to make swimmers safe and happy. In 2010 he opened Holt Commercial Pool and Fitness with his wife, Larissa. He holds an Oregon Contractors License (ccb#192472), an Oregon Certified Pool Technician License ( #OL4280097), is a member of SPSPA, holds certificates in Construction Safety, ADA Standards, Swimming Pool Design and Construction, PPE, Confined Space Safety, and many more.

She has over 14 years in the fitness industry as both a salesperson, manager, and repair technician. Her knowledge of pool chemistry and service is remarkable. She has trained in pool operations and is a regular fixture on the route as a mentor and trainer to their employees. She currently works as the office manager, handling billing, scheduling, and is the first person you usually talk to with inquiries. A little know fact is Larissa is also a highly accomplished artist and has had a successful art career for over 30 years. She has over 80 published limited editions and hundreds of original pieces of art (she’s lost count) sold and distributed. You can check out her original artwork at LarissaHolt.com.
